If you haven’t noticed I took a little break back in June! I needed sometime to reset! I have been in this business for for over 15 years as a full time artist and I have never taken a break to just be still. I was feeling overwhelmed and underwhelmed. This break gave me a chance to reflect personally allowing me to grow and regain a renewed confidence in myself and my art. I started working on a few projects that I will share later along with a series of self portraits titled "Blooming" and "Flourishing," which served as a love letter to myself. The flowers, symbolize a new beginning and the process of embracing my new self, highlighting achievements in careers, motherhood, and self-love. With words of affirmation in the background as a reminder, that if you’re going through tough times don’t be so hard on yourself, give yourself grace . Allow yourself to grow, glow and to give yourself flowers. These portraits, and my daughter inpsired me to get back to my coloring book, something that has been in the works for years I just never took the time to work on it!
